And the bust turned out to be the e-mail, for that matter. A London lawyer apparently wanted to "upgrade" his secretary. He e- mailed his boss that he wanted a "real fit busty blonde" this time because of the prospective entertainment value. (Does he work at a law firm or a locker room?) But he may not get to find out if busty blondes have more fun, file better briefs or take better dictation -- Murphy's Law kicked in. Yep, the outgoing secretary, who is black, stumbled upon the e-mail. Busted! She's none too pleased and is suing the sender and another lawyer for sex and race discrimination. Both of the "offending" lawyers, racked by guilt, say the e-mail was a silly joke, and they've apologized to no avail. I don't want to use cookies and I don't want to use as/400 profiles or validation lists. I was wondering if there was a way for me create my own environment variable that would contain someone's user ID. This variable would need to be available to all CGI programs on our Web site, as long as they didn't close their browser window." What do you think -- have any suggestions for this search400 member?
