Answers to Other WebSphere and Web Development Questions
===========================================================

1. WebFacing woes
This user writes, "We are trying out WebFacing, but we get
an error message when we invoke the application. The error
message is as follows: 'While logging on to the host
obos.obos.no with user profile osrk received IO exception:
java.io.IOException: Broken pipe.' " Check out what site
expert Jim Mason and other search400 members had to say.

2. Why won't the HTTP server start up?
No matter what this user does, he can't get the HTTP server
up after installing WebSphere under V5R1M0. Fortunately,
another user had a suggestion for him. Read what he said --
or post your own ideas.

3. WebFacing error -- what does it mean?
This user says he installed the WebSphere Development tools
V5R1 so he could use WebFacing. He can now convert DDS
Source and deploy the obtained JSP files and Java beans on
the WAS. In runtime he sees on the console of WebSphere
that the WebFace servlet (ControllerServlet) is loaded, but
he gets this error in his browser:
WebFacingInternalException. On the communication console he
gets the following messages: ccSetCurrentLibrary: RC=5.
ccSetLibraryList: RC=5.
