DUNCAN PLEDGES TO 'RE-ENGAGE' WITH ISERIES CUSTOMERS |Search400.com

Buell Duncan says that IBM is serious about investing in the
iSeries and that the company is spending $300 million on

more competitive in pricing, develop relationships with ISVs and
essentially get in touch with users.

BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANS ARE A MUST | Insider Weekly
A business continuity plan isn't cheap but ignoring the issue can
be much more expensive for shops. To develop such a plan, companies
need to ask themselves how much data they can afford to lose, how
quickly they need their data back and how much they can afford to
spend.

REORGANIZE PHYSICAL FILE MEMBER | Advice: Search400.com

"CapeTown" writes, "I would like to know if anyone has had the
following problem I'm running into. When I try to reorganize
physical file members on OS/400 V5R1, the system returns with a
message "Cannot allocate object #FILE in library #LIBL". I then do
a WRKOBJLCK for this specific file and it times out coming back
with a message that it cannot allocate the object. This has
happened now four times on the same file. Any feedback will be
appreciated." Has this happened to you?
