What's on your wish list?

It's the gift-giving season, and many of us have our own personal wish lists. Techno gadgets and toys such as digital cameras, PDAs and MP3 players are often at the top of the IT pro's list. And if you're looking for advice before handing over your credit card, you can check out TechTarget's 2002 Product Guide: Gadgets, gizmos and more.

But what about your professional wish list? What do you hope to receive this year? More money in the budget so you can upgrade to a new iSeries? Training so you can add to your skills set? Help getting your legacy apps on the Web? A raise? More understanding users?

If you could have one gift for you or your department, what would it be? Send me your thoughts at [EMAIL PROTECTED].

Tip of the Week:
Using partitions? Apply PTF before upgrading to certain 8xx boxes

Thinking about upgrading to an 8xx box? If you have partitions, you need to apply PTF MF26176 permanently to V4R5 secondary partitions before the system is upgraded to certain 8xx hardware.
