Now that you've checked and the answer is yes, where do you go from here? However, with so many OS/400 products and features installed on a typical iSeries system, it can be a headache paging through every product using LICPGM(*ALL). There is another way that's a little faster and lets you search for specific PTFs number, PTF status indicators or certain information strings. http://search400.techtarget.com/tip/1,289483,sid3_gci816033,00.html Display a PTF without knowing the product number Have you ever been in the situation when an IBM support employee asks you several times, "Do you have PTF SFXXXX installed?" They ask this without mentioning the product number. He decided to use LPAR and have a managing partition and his production partition. He has two processors in his 830. The problem: He thinks his system should be extremely fast, but it's not. He's balanced his disk drives, given his production partition one and a half processors, and he still doesn't see a remarkable speed difference.
