Make FTP work for you

Some say File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is one of the easiest ways to get data to and from the iSeries -- others say it's not so simple. Many common FTP operations on the iSeries aren't entirely straightforward, making what could be an easy task a real challenge. Whether you're looking for basic FTP info or more advanced information that will help you get down to the nitty-gritty of working with the protocol, these resources will help you to avoid some of the more common pitfalls.

If you read through the information provided and still don't find what you're looking for, Search400.com experts John Brandt and Tim Granatir are on hand to answer your questions. You can also receive feedback from other iSeries users by posting your question in the Programmer Discussion Forum.
