SAMETIME, QUICKPLACE GET NEW NAMES | e-Pro Magazine
The names may change, but the products will remain the same. That's
the word from Lotus as it officially changes the names of several
of its popular collaboration software offerings. Sametime will now
be known as Lotus Instant Messaging and Lotus Web Conferencing.
QuickPlace will become Lotus Team Workplace, and Lotus
LearningSpace will now be called Lotus Learning Management System.

Using FTP to send multiple files to the IFS in batch mode is
complicated by the iSeries requiring confirmation for every file.

MISSING LINK | Software meets flatware for IT students
When you think of a geek's dining habits (if you ever think of a
geek's dining habits), a sack from Burger King probably comes to
mind -- a sack smeared with ketchup and crumpled on the floor.
Software hounds may know their code, but not all of them know the
code of conduct when it comes to dining. That's why IT students at
George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., are learning about class
in class. Students at the university's School of Information
Technology and Engineering learn dining etiquette, including how to
use a fork, butter bread and hold a wine glass. This way, the
students will be ready should they have to leave their terminals
for a business dinner, and they'll never order red wine with their
Filet-O-Fish.
