As a result, most of the IBMers manning kiosks in the IBM Pavilion at the COMMON Expo were focused on letting customers know about existing IBM solutions for the iSeries. I'm currently looking at PPP, but I'm not sure how to use PPP in conjunction with FTP. I have used FTP -- by IP address -- over our LAN, but I don't know how to tell FTP to use the PPP connection. I would appreciate any assistance. >> CLICK here to view Tim's response: http://search400.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid3_cid549696_tax285217,00.html?Offer=0917long =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= OUTPUTTING A SPOOL FILE | Forum advice: Search400.com "Tony" writes, "Does anyone have any ideas on how I can output a single spool file to be sent to two separate remote printers? Basically, my iSeries application is outputting to an OUTQ. I need that spool file to be sent to two remote Windows printers from there." Thankfully, a few people offered him some possible solutions. >> CLICK here to view or participate in this discussion thread: http://search400.discussions.techtarget.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.ee84636/4242 ______________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________ IMPORTANT FEATURES AND LINKS: =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- USER POLL | Search400.com Reader Survey When dealing with IBM, do you experience problems with billing? >> CAST your vote: http://search400.techtarget.com/#poll =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= BOOK EXCERPT | Subfiles in RPG IV Log on and download for free Chapter 7 of Subfiles in RPG IV: Rules, Examples, Techniques, and Other Cool Stuff written by Kevin Vandever and published by MC Press. It could very well conjure the word "duh" from dormancy. Researchers in the U.K. found that most workers with instant messaging (IM) on their work computers ping for pleasure, not business. Here it comes -- DUH! Dissing the boss, talking smack about co-workers and flirting are the predominate themes in workplace IMs. Workers in the U.S., on the other hand, are a little more conservative -- because more of them know their IMs can be traced.
