Larry is an honest-to-goodness microcoder for iSeries. He's consulted
frequently for advice regarding high availability choices and
performance tuning in journal-intensive database environments. He's
the leader of the iSeries Journal microcode design team, and has
authored magazine articles and a Redbook on Journal performance.
Adam is a member of IBM's iSeries journal design team. Adam has won
awards for his hands-on journal lab exercises that help customers try
out new journal features and for his ability to uncover operating
system bugs before they even get out the door. He's currently
responsible for testing all journal code produced for new OS/400
releases and for developing support for bold new iSeries initiatives
to speed up IPL and Save operations.
