SECURITY TIP
Simplifying individual object restores
A good security policy always includes backups. We tend to think of these backups as being for recovery of your system from catastrophic loss. But more frequently they are also used to recover individual data and other objects that are lost due to a wide variety of reasons, many of which fall into the security area. Having a method for quick and easy restore for individual objects is important in the overall security plans for your iSeries shop.

THE MISSING LINK
Gulp! Widget whacks Web in 'greatest innovation' poll

What's the greatest technological invention since 1963? E-mail? Cell phones? The yellow stripe that shows you how far the offense has to go for a first down? If you ask readers of tech site www.T3.co.uk, the greatest gadget of them all is the widget, a capsule that releases nitrogen into canned beer and gives the brew the kind of foam normally reserved for pints in the pub. Nearly half of 8,921 respondents to the T3 poll tipped their tall ones to the widget. Nothing else even came close. The Web came in a distant second with 13% of the vote.
