THE MISSING LINK
South Korea challenges Swedes' lead in wired race

Sweden's leadin' and the Danes are great when it comes to being the most "digitally correct" people on earth, but Nordic dominance is being challenged from the East. According to a U.N. study, northern European countries have the best access to the Internet and digital technologies, but Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore are plugging away at Scandinavian supremacy. South Korea now leads the globe in broadband access and ranks as the fourth most-connected nation. It beat Norway -- and that's saying a lot. The United States finished at No. 11, hurt by a mobile phone system that's lacking. (Reuters)
