Can any of the Democratic presidential candidates help U.S. IT workers?

The U.S. is in the thick of it -- the Democratic presidential election. You can't help but hear the rhetoric about how the candidates are going to save this country from doom. Without fail, they spew their plans for economic recovery -- which usually involve the promise of more jobs. But in recent weeks, after listening and comparing the candidates and their positions on jobs and the economy, it makes one wonder. Is there any one Democratic candidate who could be the savior of U.S. jobs?

As the hemorrhaging of U.S. tech jobs offshore continues, do any of the candidates have a strong position for regulating outsourcing? Have any of them a plan for job growth here in the U.S.? Do they offer hope for better job security? As we head to the polls, let us know your position on the Democratic presidential candidates and tell us which one, if any, can help put U.S. IT workers back to work. Send your comments to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or take our poll.

"Flumpa" recently discovered IFS and is now up to his neck in streams. He would like to print an .RTF document onto the iSeries as a spool file, but he's having trouble doing so. Thankfully, Search400.com expert Jim Mason was on hand to help him out.

>> Printing bar codes on non-IPDS printers
"RPGAS400" has two IBM Network 17 printers that are non-IPDS devices. He wondered if there was a way to print bar codes on them. Search400.com member "malloy" offers some advice.
