On how many other issues could an African-American female Democrat from the Northeast see eye to eye with a Hoosier who happens to be white, male and Republican? The two lawmakers hope their legal fight against offshoring will make the private sector sit up and take notice.

EXPERT ADVICE
Adding aliases on virtual hosts
Jim Mason, Web development advice

Dear Jim,
I?m working on setting up a new DNS server on V5R1. I have all of the entries in host tables on all of the systems. When importing to the DNS server, all entries now have the qualified domain on the end of them, i.e. ASSYS1 is now ASSYS1.ABCCompany.com. Is it possible to get the DNS to alias just 'ASSYS1' without the whole domain. This is how it was set up in the host file.
