ASK THE EXPERTS: Keeping track of sign-on dates
Dear Carol,
We have users that connect to our iSeries through IFS only. They log on by a personal user ID and not by a guest profile. My problem is that I can't see a user's last logon (i.e. mapping to IFS), which makes it impossible to disable user IDs that haven't been used for 60 days. I can't see in the USRPRF if a user's ID has been disabled -- it is seen only in QSYSOPR MSGQ. What do you recommend?
TOPICS: User Poll -- IBM's pricing strategy
Do you believe IBM's pricing strategy for the iSeries is luring users to the platform or driving them away?

Golden Arches puts cards on the table (Associated Press)
A
Big Mac, fries and a Coke: $4.99. A hot apple pie: $2.59. The ability
to pig out and not have to fork over any greenbacks: priceless. McDonald's is hoping to widen the smile on your Happy Meal by doubling the number of its restaurants that accept credit cards. By year's end, as many as 8,000 Mickey Ds will let you swipe your way to gluttony. If you carry American Express but not Visa, there's no need to grimace. All major cards are accepted beneath the Golden Arches. Membership certainly does have its privileges.
