Spammer's sports car revs up AOL users

This AOL contest offers the best of both worlds: a free Porsche and payback for spam. AOL obtained a red Boxster convertible as part of a settlement with a sporty spammer and has offered the car as a kind of online door prize. In eight days, more than 1 million people have thrown their AOL screen names into the virtual hat. Either they really hate spam or really love Porsches. The deadline to enter is 11:59 p.m. EDT Thursday, with
the winner likely to be announced during the week of April 19.
