[iSeries Network] PeopleSoft isn't the only iSeries company hurt by the ongoing Oracle suit. One report says the questioning of Lawson Software president and chief executive Jay Coughlan -- by a Justice Department attorney -- made the company look like a flop. The company, however, strongly disagrees with that assessment, saying the examination highlighted Lawson's successes. (Free registration to this site required.) Michael whams...er slams Web site shut [The Inquirer] Why has pop star George Michael shut down his Web site? Blame it on too many careless whispers. The former singing partner of Andrew Ridgeley and infamous patron of the California park system pulled the plug after people started slamming him in what was supposed to be a fan forum. Visitors cracked on Michael's appearance, as well as his recent music -- not exactly the kind of feedback he was looking for. Michael lost "Faith," said he got ripped enough already in the media and decided to close down the site.
