This Week: In the forums
>> Working with CL and MONMSG
"Frontrange400" was trying to use MONMSG to trap three or four MSGIDs. The problem is that MONMSG allows him to trap for a list of MSGIDs, but the EXEC is able to take only a single action. He wondered if he was barking up the wrong tree with MONMSG. Thankfully, "RingerSoftware" was on hand and knew just what to do.

>> SQLRPG record lock information needed
"Bhullar" would like to know if there is a way to find out who locked a record. He's trying to update a record using SQLRPG and needs to have the user's name that lock the record. Do you know how to identify the user?

>> Setting up a printer to print to the iSeries
"Barbara34" has a local printer attached to her PC. She wants to print to this printer from the iSeries and is running into problems. She tried going into Client Access to set it up, but she still didn't have any luck. "RMalloy" comes to her rescue and tries to walk her though the process.

Tip of the Week:
The registration facility helps you tailor your system -- Part I

It is a central place -- with standard interfaces -- in which IBM and other vendors can store exit points, and where users can specify exit programs for those exit points.

This week we take a look at exit programs and points and how you can use the registration facility to define and manage them.
