Cheers for Spears -- Britney hits it one more time

Yep, she did it again. Britney is back on top -- of the 2004 list of "most searched-for people" on the Web, according to America Online. Why is anyone's guess -- maybe because of her two marriages this year, one of which is still working. A certain hotel heiress is catching up, though, and finished second. Because her name is spam filter fodder, she won't be mentioned here (it rhymes with "Terrace Chilton"). Those lined Ugg boots were the most searched-for fashion trend. So if you did a search for Britney Spears wearing Ugg boots, you might have to reboot your computer.
