Bad call -- cell phone ring stops the music [Ananova] Sometimes, something techie can be just plain tacky -- like a cutesy cell phone ring that sticks out like a sore thumb. When a cell phone rang during a classical music concert in Denmark, the conductor lost his composure (as opposed to losing his composer, who in this case was Ravel), stopped the music, waited for the ringing to stop and made the musicians start from the top. What he should have done was take the symphony to the offending party's house, wait for the person to make a private call, then rev up the Ravel as "forte" as they could play.
