Last year Americans disposed of nearly 20 million tons of electronic products, and environmentalists are saying the load is overwhelming the bandwidth of the nation's landfills. Retailers like Staples and Office Depot have stepped up to offer recycling programs, but with the new Mac mini hitting the shelves this week, things may only get worse.
