yes, will be there this evening, maybe a little late

getting a midi fpga spec'ed, working on optical pickup, stepper motor

can I ask how we find out what people are working on without disturbing

 Hello Hackers,

Again it is Tuesday, 57North Hacklab's weekly open night. Anyone is
 welcome to
come along and see what we get up to in the space. Most Tuesdays will see
members working on projects, chewing the fat and generally thinking about
 the
amazing universe in which we live.

If you are coming in to tonight, reply to this email and let everyone know
 what
you might be getting up to.

Wow you move really fast, I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Try and catch them in a break? There is a way to do it, or there must be
because I have seen folks doing it wrong. Logically there must be a way to do
it right.

I've got some spare BC337 transistors (maybe half a dozen) which I can
bring down if they'd be any use.

I should be around from 8 onwards, pottering with something-or-other from
the 1980s.

I will be asking Ed questions about KiCad and trying to build things out of
transistors and op amps. Depending if we have transistors and op amps
 somewhere.

I will be along tonight looking at how I'm going to go about IPv6 over
AX.25. Following some successful experiments with IPv4 over AX.25 at the
weekend, I now have a better understanding of what is going on in the kernel
so should be able to make some good progress.

I'll be down around 7:30 to hack on either the BBB/Webcam/laser'd robot arm or
contiune with figuring how to interface the wiimote i2c camera with my
microquad(s).

If those transistors are available, it might be interesting to breadboard up a
H-Bridge (http://bit.ly/1w05s5r) with 4 of those bad-boys (you'd get them back)
to interface the Beaglebone and robot arm. Anyone have any BC327s? (or
equivilent PNPs) for the other 2 transistors?

Hey all

I am buying some H-bridge ICs from RS (http://bitly/1v8joel) for 1.4GBP. These
are perfectly suited for the robot arms that are going about the space, with
each IC able to FWD/REV/Break 2 DC motors upto 1A.

Gis a shout if anyone wants in.

Cheers,
