Problem comes up by enter a MAC address into a cell, example 
00:B3:DB:09:03:04:09

The part starting with DB: is marked in gray and if i click on this part, i got
an error box with the title DB:09 and the text   DB:09  wrong parameter
(in the german version Falscher parameter).
If i click on the starting part of the MAC address, i am able to edit the cell.
The gray marked part of the cell can only deleted as a whole.
The cell was formatted as text.

This occurs as well if you use DB:08 or others, starting with "DB:"

My OO-version is OOO310m11, OS is Windows XP SP3.

Looking into the function list of the german version, there is no function named
"DB", the clostest one ar DBMIN or DBMAX.

it does not matter if the left parenthesis is an open parenthesis associated
with the English text or a closing parenthesis associated with the Hebrew text
and subject to symmetric swapping (and reversely for the right parenthesis).
But if the string is broken into 2 lines, associating the parentheses with the
encompassing text will display as

  eng1 eng2 (3BEH
  4BEH) eng5 eng6

while associating the parentheses with the inner text will display as

I think that the first display is the preferred one.

b) The problem does not seem to be related to directionality, but to the
algorithm for determining line breaks (it might be that the algorithm considers
directional runs boundaries as allowed break points).  Why this algorithm
behaves differently for LTR and RTL text, at least when parentheses are
concerned, is part of the issue.

c) If the problem is not related to directionality, changing the Bidi properties
of parentheses is not going to fix it.

d) Changing the Bidi properties of any character to values different from
specified by Unicode is a bad idea anyway.  I hope that there is no need to
justify this statement.

I believe this is simply the wrong message, it's the number of columns that
causes the problem. After import, please look into row 184 and check last
column, 'AMJ' contains "Quarterly", several further columns (,,"D","A","M") are
missing.

When you have a table which is comprised of multiple rows, but differing 
numbers 
of columns, when you attempt to make a change in column width (by entering a 
value 
in the change column width tool) to the same column, or group of columns within 
a 
subset of rows which you have selected by any method of column selection, all 
attempts at column width change after you have changed the column width once is 
ignored (no column width change is done by the application) UNTIL you perform a 
SAVE operation to the file, at which time you can successfully make the change.

OOo under Mac will deleting tmp-Files there are cache-saves for the
OOo-Document. I think it is a Codingerror in the Framework, however
IF/ELSE-function does not work correctly..  I'll view the Code at the next tinme
and try to find and Fix it.

cmc: I would believe that by not having the cpp2uno.cxx part you killed, we 
are unable to obtain the small structs through registers (I mean, to 
reconstruct the original small struct from gpreg and fpreg).  OTOH, what used 
to be there couldn't work either, CppArgs[nPos]/pCppStack was filled with a 
pointer to temporary.

I wonder - does it work now by 2 bugs actually eliminating each other, or is 
it too late, and my brain is already asleep? ;-)  I suppose something that 
passes a small struct from c++ to Java through UNO would answer, but...

uno2cpp.cxx and call.s changes look correct to me.  Not sure about the abi.cxx 
change, that was mostly copied from ffi.c so if the change is there too, then 
I suppose all is fine :-)

Yeah I'm working on this at the moment.  It's basically blocking on the ODF file
format change approval.  Most of the bits are already integrated; we just need
to get the file format squared out and enable the feature.

On a document with several distinct page styles (writerBUG2.file1.odt), the page
style of the last page is incorrectly shown. It should be "Numbered Index Right
Page". On the contrary, the style applied and shown on the status bar is "Right
Page". Note also the associated status bar UI error (writerBUG2.file2.jpg).

Any attempts to apply the "Numbered Index Right Page" or better "Numbered Index
First Page" page style to the pages are in vain.

BUT if you simply modify "Right Page" page style, setting
Organizer/Next_Style="Left Page", suddenly the error dissappears: last page
adopts "Numbered Index Right Page" page style and this is the style shown on the
status bar.

Further investigation reveals that indeed the relevant difference between 
current output of OOo and the 
output of Word 2007 is the written style id. OOo writes the id taken from 
m_rWW8Export.nStyleBeforeFly, 
Word 2007 writes 0.

However I have to look into the history to find out why OOo refers to 
nStyleBeforeFly.
