I had similar problems with 3.2RC on WIN XP. For my downgrade to 3.1.1 I had to
clean up the registry arter I had uninstalled 3.2

I agree with Bernard. ImageIdentifier is more useful than UserDefinedImages
because you can define an image even if there is no command (a sub-menu entry
for example).
OOo 3.2 seems to ignore ImageIdentifier property for MenuBar, but it still works
for ToolBar.
It's now a problem.

This is a user interface issue. Suppose I have a .odb file XYZ open in 
OpenOffice Base. I want to make some changes, but in case I want to back out of 
them, I want a backup copy. So I copy my .odb file to XYZ1.odb. I want to be 
sure that XYZ1.odb never gets scribbled on, so I can go back to it if necessary.

Now I edit a form in XYZ.odb (confident, so far, that if I make a mistake, XYZ1 
will be a source of recovery). I make changes (spending (and this is true...) 
hours over them.) Then I click "save" and up comes the message: "OK to save 
XYZ1?" So I think "Aaargh! No! I don't want to scribble on my precious backup!" 
so I click "cancel" and all my work is lost. I try again, waste more hours, and 
lose still more work... and then I begin to realize what is going on...

Had I renamed my backup "XYZ2.odb" none of this would ever have happened. But 
still: is this kind of thing really useful/necessary/helpful?

Confirmed.  But I doubt this ever worked correctly.  So, at least this is not a
regression.

For instance, when you link a table to an encrypted document, it succeeds only
for the first time.  When you reload the document and select to update the link,
the table fails to update.  The reason I checked the linked table is that linked
tables are an old mechanism not affected by my rework of the external 
references.

I could check how easily we can add support for encrypted documents, but no idea
if I could make that for 3.3.

when I check Task Manager {Windows Vista, XP} it says it is Running, after 
ending task in Task Manager, OpenOffice.org does Launch.

As a side-note I am a newbie, have Patience with me, I have had a little 
trouble navigating your help site.  Can you make it easier to search for issues 
and "bugs" and then report the issue in the future?  Thanks

The link is still there because the formulas referencing the external documents
are still there, and Calc automatically creates links upon reopening, on demand.
 In order to fix this, we need to convert the values of those cells to static

Using OOO300m19 (Build:9420)(3.1.1) US-en on Vista Home Premium.  
I am seeing different Date formats on the two cells in question on all four
workbooks provided by the OP.  The A3 cell is using a what my system is calling
a custom DD/MM/YY format.  The B3 cell has either the MM/DD/YY format or the
General format.

No reaction for more than half a year, so closing issue due to reporter's

Hi,

the height of the printer ListBox should be resizeable. I currently have 11
Printers installed and selecting the right one is a fiddly thing, because my
scrollwheel scrolls too fast (too many lines at once). The scrollbar is really
sensitive too.

I have just successfully built OOo-3.2 with
gcc (SUSE Linux) 4.5.0 20100218 (experimental) [trunk revision 156860]

I did the cppu tests according to
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Uno/Binary/Modules/CPPU and they all
passed.

I will attach a patch that enables this gcc version in cppu/inc/uno/lbnames.h.


IMPORTANT: There was one more compilation error in
sal/cpprt/operators_new_delete.cxx. It was caused by
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=43257. I compiled the file with
-fno-ipa-sra as a workaround.

I am not sure if you want this workaround as well or if you would prefer to wait
for the upstream fix.

It is not a circular reference problem, which is AtoB&BtoA; but this is 
AtoB&BtoC.

Further testing narrowed down the problem; the problem is between Columns C&D 
of Budget2010/Budget2011 and Tab AnnuityFactors.

It works if I mouse-click once in the formula window after the "=" sign and 
then go to the AnnuityFactors Tab. See attached pictures, 
FormulaScreenCaptures2.odt. It works fine in MS Excel.

I then reconstitued BudgetTemplate and it works -- there might be some thing in 
Columns C&D of Budget2010/Budget2011 that OO does not like. See 
Budget_Template2.xls.

YOu can ignore 108792; it did not have enough details.

Having inserted a bookmark,
rightclicking the page statusbar field the bookmarks are displayed.
Unfortunately they're displayed from the cursor on downwards.
Having maximized OO Writer the bookmark list will be hidden behind the windows
taskbar.

darn - I was wrong HSQLdb does still support FIRST and it does work with OOo3.2
in direct SQL mode. 

SELECT TOP 10 * FROM "BillingCodes" AS "BillingCodes" 

Works fine in direct mode under HSQLdb 1.8 but not sure it will under the
upcoming 2.0. 

The OOo parser does not recognize it any longer. hmmm

There is now (I amusing OOo 3.20) an export tool for "sending" a plan from
Writer to Impress.
It only exports the headings in slides/bullets.

Could it be completed such that text, lists and (ideally) images of the writer

OK - well, first I installed the SQLite driver under XP and the required DLL.

Using OOo3.2 and OOo3.0.1 I could get the driver to report a successful
connection but never to work in Base proper, never do I see a table in that
example database. I can create tables in new db files under both 3.0.1 and 3.2
but I get unsupported errors when I try to access these new tables.

OK - at this point let me ask which version of Java you are using:
1) under 3.1.1 and is this the same version you are using under 3.2?

Tried to re-install 3.1, install completed, tried again to open a document,
fatal error again. I now cannot read or edit any documents.

If you have a text document with different pictures and text, and you print the
document on the Microsoft Document XPS printer, in the result some pictures are
missing.

- If I use a PDF printer, no problem
- If I open the document in an open office document viewer (e.g. textmaker
viewer), and print it to the MS XPS printer, it's also no problem.

Checked w/ XP, OOo3.2, SRB 1.1.0

Confirmed - the SRB in edit mode opens to full screen, without regard for the OS
task bar. This behavior is inconsistent with the rest of OO.o and with the MS
Windows UI guidelines.

The task bar has two settings : Auto Hide and Keep this task bar on top of other
windows. 

It is the first second setting that is being ignored.

Testing with task bars at the top of the screen, the SRB does respect the
setting, it appears that only the system task bar setting is ignored.
