After some debugging with wireshark i filed a bug:

maybe this is also the origin of your error

Re: Jefliks Jabber-Client release

2010-02-15 Thread Risto H. Kurppa
I tried to configure Facebook-jabber here:

JID: user.n...@chat.facebook.com/Freerunner
password: mysecretpassword
server: chat.facebook.com:5222
no tls, no plain, no sasl, no anonymous

gives me authorization failed. Anyone else more successful?

ps. this truly seems to be fast, very nice. Multi-account support
would be great.

Re: Jefliks Jabber-Client release

2010-02-15 Thread Richy
Hello Davide,

http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/8206/jeflikstutshort.png

First, click on Actions --> Settings

your JID/Ressource would be

dsca...@gmail.com/Freerunner
You can replace Freerunner with whatever you like. Just make sure that, if
you have multiple devices to login to your account, they need a different
ressource.

your Password next, don't know this one ;)

The options should work, I haven't tried gmail yet.

Next, hit save and close

At last, click on status and online.

I saw "..." where status used to be and after a few seconds, it connected.

Hope that helps

I tried to package it for SHR but i can't get it compile.
I think it's taking the wrong pkg-config.

Is it possible that the author switches to autotools? Then it would be much
easier to package.
