We've completed the incorporation of 4.5.5/4.4.9 along with successfully 
running our test suite. Unless there are objections raised/discussed on 
2, ECF will contribute this version as part of our 3.14.1 [a] release. 
After that I expect it will be incorporated into platform for Photon.1 SR.

[cross-project-issues-dev] SimRel aggregation pipeline jobs

Hi,

I've created two pipeline builds

https://ci.eclipse.org/simrel/job/simrel.runaggregator.pipeline/
https://ci.eclipse.org/simrel/job/simrel.runaggregator.pipeline.gerrit/

that will eventually be merged into one job. They will be doing the main
aggregation with fancy pipelines. The job name does not contain the
release, since it would have to be changed every 13 weeks. The plan is
to only change the target staging directory in the Jenkinsfile
(committed to the org.eclipse.simrel.build repository).

For legacy reasons the
simrel.photon.runaggregator.VALIDATE.gerrit freestyle job that uses the
Maven wrapper will be kept for a while.

More SimRel spring cleaning will be done in the next weeks and months.

Please let me know if you have any concerns, questions, recommendations,
etc.

Hi,

I've updated the scripts to run against the Photon GA bits. The build
runs successful again.

The simrel.photon.runaggregator.VALIDATE.gerrit.old job still uses the
original Ant scripts and will be disabled. It is replaced by the
simrel.photon.runaggregator.VALIDATE.gerrit job that runs the Maven
wrapper in a freestyle job.

because it can't find Photon M7 bits.

Any clue as to what's going on? The job has a 10 minute limit but didn't 
kill itself.

one has been scheduled but not yet executed because the current job
seems to be stuck:

release, the one for Photon is used. Will there be a separate one for 2018-09 
or will this job be kept for all future releases (and should probably be 
renamed)?

I’ve validated my Scout commit to Gerrit myself as no new Jenkins job had been 
indicated in the Gerrit view. Only afterwards I’ve seen that one has been

[cross-project-issues-dev] Drop 32 bit Linux support in 4.9

Hi all,

we plan to drop Linux 32 bit support in Eclipse 4.9.

Two main reasons: lack of manpower to do maintenance work and a very small user 
audience ( < 1% of all Eclipse users).

If anyone has objections AND manpower to continue maintenance for 32 bit Linux 
builds in the future, please speak up now (on the bug).
