Bug#445134: azureus: always crashes on starup
Hi! I have not seen this before. Searching Google for Xlib: unexpected async reply gives many results. Have you tried asking the Azureus authors? Perhaps they have seen this before. I'm getting the same behavior here, but if you're using gnome 2.20, like I do, the problem seems not to be azureus. Have a look at this: Debian Bug Report: [1] and Upstream: [2] Regards, Michael [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=443990 [2] http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479929 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. package azureus severity 445134 important tag 445134 moreinfo thanks Hello Roman, You currently have three JVM installed (sun-java5-jre, sun-java6-jre, and java-gcj-compat). Which are you using? Run these commands for me: $ /usr/sbin/update-alternatives --display java $ ls -l /etc/alternatives/java $ /usr/sbin/update-alternatives --display swt.jar $ ls -l /etc/alternatives/swt.jar Also please run azureus from the command line and send me the resulting console output. As a quick guess at fixing your problem, try running this command: $ sudo update-alternatives --auto swt.jar If that fixes your issue, please tell me so.
