Re: [Declude.JunkMail] SpamManager question

2003-06-12 Thread brian

Hi Fred,

Canned message follows...

Thanks for your interest in Alligate for IMail. We recommend that you first
look over the product documentation so that you will have a good understanding
of Alligate's capabilities and installation options.

The documentation can be downloaded at the following address:

http://www.alligate.com/imail/downloads.asp

We will be happy to supply you with a free 30 day license so that you can
evaluate the product. In order to generate the license and key codes for you
we will need to know the IP address for the computer you will be using to test
Alligate.

For the IMail stand alone version, pricing is determined by the number of
users your are receiving mail for. For the Declude version, it is a flat fee
for unlimited use.

Licensing costs are available at http://www.alligate.com/imail/pricing.htm

Thanks again,

Brian Milburn

Brian,
That sounds awesome. Should I wait for the new release or go ahead an
implement your current version. Will there be a pricing increase, versus an upgrade
charge if I buy it now. Thanks for the info.

for giving negative weights to pattern matches that have words like "Shipping"
"Tax" and "Total" within say 120 characters of each other indicating it is
probably a receipt or invoice for something.

Title: Spammanager question

Keith, CYBERSitter is getting very close to
announcing the official release of their AlliGate for Declude (formerly
SpamManager) plug-in.  My understanding is that the finishing touches are
being applied to the documentation and then it will be released.

I've been running the plug-in with JunkMail since
it's first beta release and have been quite impressed with it.  The final
release product incorporates a lot of really unique but extremely effective
new spam tests (see a posting I sent to this list last week for a description
of a few of the new spam tests).  We also run Sniffer, and have great
success with that product, as well.  However, I would wholeheartedly
recommend AlliGate as an additional content filter plug-in for use with Declude
JunkMail!
