[Bug 267642] Re: copying a folder from a secure webdav server to disk results in a html file
This issue is not restricted to secure WebDAV (in Lucid, at least...) I'm able to reproduce it over plain old HTTP. Not sure who or how to route this information to the right maintainer, but what is needed is a full-depth PROPFIND call to precede the actual GETs that do the copying. For each resource returned by the PROPFIND, a quick check for 'iscollection' = TRUE or 'resourcetype' = '' will reveal if the given resource should be treated as a folder (instead of a file). As a nice side effect, the PROPFIND will provide enough information to populate a progress dialog, too. -- copying a folder from a secure webdav server to disk results in a html file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/267642 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 498243] [NEW] pulseaudio volume control applet can't distinguish between multiple instances of the same device
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager When multiple instances of the same sound device are connected (in my case, three identical Logitech USB audio dongles), gnome-volume-control only shows the first device as selectable for either input or output via PulseAudio. This same bug existed in Jaunty's volume control applet, but was marked WONTFIX since ALSA was being deprecated. The only workaround I have is to bypass Pulse entirely and use command- line ALSA tools. I suspect this issue may run as deep as module-udev-detect, since looking at the PulseAudio Manager shows only one module-alsa-card entry for the given device type. Also note that connecting multiple USB devices from different manufacturers works fine -- the issue only manifests itself if the devices connected are identical. ** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- pulseaudio volume control applet can't distinguish between multiple instances of the same device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498243 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-volume-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 421141] [NEW] mixer applet addresses wrong device
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets When several identical USB sound devices are connected, volume changes in the mixer applet only affect the device with the lowest ALSA "hw:" ID. In my particular case, each participant in a podcast recording session is using an identical Logitech headset and DSP. The expected behaviour is that each device would be listed and managed appropriately. What actually happens is that although each device is listed in the "Device:" dropdown of the Volume Control window, all of the entries refer to the first device, and changes made to the setting are applied to the first device, regardless of which one is selected. On the console, alsamixer works appropriately when passed each device's "hw:" ID as a parameter. Gnome-alsamixer also works as expected.
