[Bug 95940] Re: No way to reset ALSA state from GUI
/etc/init.d/alsa-utils reset Intel got my sound working again - thanks a million! I was screwing around with settings trying to get the mic to work. I still cannot record from mic, but it could be worse. -- No way to reset ALSA state from GUI https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95940 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 324588] [NEW] Sound Juicer 2.24.0 [Intrepid] error writing to disc
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sound-juicer Sound juicer prepares to copy audio CD by creating image. So far, so good. [Bug 230273] Re: (very) strange fix for slow change directory performance some people experience (could help find a fix?)
On Intrepid I also experience Nautilus "not responding", with one CPU (2.4GHz Quad) at 100% for several minutes. I suspect it is enumerating and caching every item in every subfolder, because the time varies. E.g. /usr takes a looong time, while Documents doesn't. I don't really need to know how many items are in every single folder, Maybe that could be made an option; tradeoff detail for speed. -- (very) strange fix for slow change directory performance some people experience (could help find a fix?) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230273 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
