[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1409591] Re: Unity screensaver doesn't fade to black on fullscreen flash videos
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users. ** Changed in: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1409591 Title: Unity screensaver doesn't fade to black on fullscreen flash videos Status in gnome-screensaver package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hi there, On a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.10 on an Acer 4810T laptop with Intel graphics, the screensaver doesn't fade to black when fullscreen flash videos are running. When such videos are running non-fullscreen, or when doing anything else, the fade-to-black works as expected. The fade-to-black is extremely important and useful for me, since it alerts me that the screen is about to go to sleep and gives me a chance to move the mouse and wake it up. Thanks. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1409591] Re: Unity screensaver doesn't fade to black on fullscreen flash videos
This bug is still present on 15.04. Additionally, it isn't just fullscreen flash videos; full screen HTML5 videos in Firefox also go black with no fade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1409591 Title: Unity screensaver doesn't fade to black on fullscreen flash videos Status in gnome-screensaver package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hi there, On a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.10 on an Acer 4810T laptop with Intel graphics, the screensaver doesn't fade to black when fullscreen flash videos are running.
