[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1989067] Re: gnome-control-center Segmentation fault (core dumped)
I tried reinstalling both and rebooting but no luck, also, sometimes the settings just work, but when i close the window and try opening it again, it doesn't open anymore. I have no idea what causes this. I still tried disabling the rounded window corners even though you said it was probably another problem, and yeah it didn't work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1989067 Title: gnome-control-center Segmentation fault (core dumped) Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: When i try to open the settings, i see the loading cursor but noting opens, in the system monitor gnome control center appears briefly but quickly disappears. could you try to reinstall dbus-x11 or ubuntu-desktop and see if that resolves the issue? also from the journal you have a shell extension for rounded windows corner which is buggy but that's probably another problem ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1989067 Title: gnome-control-center Segmentation fault (core dumped) Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: When i try to open the settings, i see the loading cursor but noting opens, in the system monitor gnome control center appears briefly but quickly disappears.
