You can also have your existing translation imported to online translation management tool at http://pootle.arsaperta.org and have it updated as the new milestone comes. You can update ur translations to latest milestones. We are nearly done with the translation of oosrc680m157 and would like to upgrade to latest pot files and submit it to openoffice. I found that the latest milestone seems to be 191. Can we update our translation to this latest pot files and submit to open office... It sounds very interesting, especially for the languages without any existing spellchecking dictionaries, neither pure wordlist, nor language model based ones. Who will run/arrange/admin it? b) sources (database definitions, PHP/Python scripts ...) for setting up your own project on your own server? (create a central project somewhere (like sf.net), language groups developers download the sources, install on some local server, extend the functionalities and contribute the code ...)? Rafaella People, working in linguistic area - in our example someone like people, who were working on ver 1.0 of Slovenian spell check dictionary (beside a company that opensourced quite a large spell check dictionary) but are now occupied with other projects (like http://nl.ijs.si/). People, who you can trust and who can give arguments why some entry is approved or rejected. [l10n-dev] bug with hindi l10n package (on ubuntu + debian stock builds)
Hi, I am facing a strange issue.. when using Hindi l10n langpack for OOo 2.0.4 in Ubuntu (edgy) or Debian (etch).. these are stock builds that come in the repositorys. When I try typing Hindi in Writer, it only takes the first char typed.. and eats up the rest of chars until a whitespace char..., the first char in a word appears then next chars dont appear, neither does the cursor move..it happens with Hindi only , rest Indic langs ( Gujarati, Punjabi) i can type properly.. uninstalling the Hindi lang pack, makes it work normally. now I am going through all the files installed by the lang pack ( openoffice.org-l10n-hi-in package ), to figure out whats wrong but not having much clue.. maybe there is some error in some XML..but cant figure out. Anyone has clue as to which files to look into..?
