Good point, David. In this particular case, there'll be opportunities for remote participation for people who aren't in the Boston area - I almost never give a talk these days without some sort of IRC backchannel. In this case, I'll make sure a computer is open and on #olpc-meeting so that (my nick is mchua). when sending out announcemnts like this, please remember that this is an international mailing list, and most people won't know where the places are. this announcement was better than most because it included a link to the school, but if you could include a few details (country, state, city for ecample) it would be helpful to allow people to filter out the ones that aren't near enough for them to attend.
