I'm having the the "Stopping issue", maybe twice a day. I have just installed VortexBox 2.4, with LMS and added Spotity. When I'm listening to Spotify, on the only player I have. I have a gigabit network. My VortexBox server audio output plugs directly into my audio switch. I find that when it stops, if I click the "Next Song" button from my web interface to LMS, it goes to the next song and then plays for several hours and then pauses again. I've had this issue! For me - it was (still is happening) because I am using iPeng and I had a bluetooth headset connected to the same iPad. The bluetooth headset controls the volume on the iPad's player - and if that's iPeng, then you get inadvertent SB volume control.
