Thanks for all the ideas. I think I can specify a 404 page via IIS, so I am going to try to do that. I played with it once before, but didn't get too far, and I was hoping there was another way. Well, you didn't say that you had IIS access. I have seen tricks with 404.htm that is handled by a 404.cfm before. I have that archived someplace from cf-talk.
