Hi All,

Does Dspace still use the Geolite database and if so, how can one get
access to an updated copy?

Thanks

[dspace-tech] "More like this" feature

2020-04-08 Thread 'Massimiliano CILURZO' via DSpace Technical Support
Dear all,
We have DSpace 6.3 and we have noticed that the "more like this"
functions isn't working well.
This function doesn't appear always.
For example, I have an item "A" and if you click on this you see the "more
like this funciton"active and three items "B","C" and "D" correlated.
But if you click on of the other items (B,C or D) this items (B for
example) haven't the "more like this" function active and you don't see any
correlated item to this.
It is strange that happen this.
So I wonder what is wrong and how I can configure and start/stop the "more
like this" functionality.
Thanks
Best regards
Massimiliano

[dspace-tech] Re: deploying the rest api

2020-04-08 Thread Jose Blanco
In looking at the catalina log files, it seems like I'm having the issue
mentioned here:
http://dspace.2283337.n4.nabble.com/Rest-API-not-working-in-DSpace-6-2-td4687599.html

I have java version "1.7.0_251"

I'm trying to get RESTapi to run on 63. According to the installation
instructions, I should be able to use version 7 of java, but it seems
like maybe not. Before I upgrade to Java 8, I want to verify this.

Thank you!
