Kelit on varmaan huonot- häiritseviä asemia kuuntelemani ULA-taajuuden (YLE Suomi) läheisyydessä näin kesäisin monesti. Asema feidaa eikä tahdo kuulua. Pitäisi saada ehkä lisätaajuuksia kuuluvuuden takaamiseksi? Vaadin parempia - stabiilimpia - ULA-kelejä (veronmaksajien rahojen vastineeksi). Välillä- kuten tulevana viikonloppuna 5.7. kuuntelen Scandinavian Weekend Radiota- taajuuksilla 11720, 11690, 6170 ja 5980 kHz. 1602 kuuluu kesäöisin joskus myös hyvin. Oksidentaalista oikeutta, ja vähintään FM-jenkkejä lapin miehille, olen väljästi ottaen etenkin samaa mieltä mielipiteeni kanssa. Hyviä lomia! Vetäisenkö senkö merkeissä vaiko muutoin vain päivän päälle lippusalkoon sinivalkoisen WMVP 1290 -lakanan? Jokseenkin tuo on lippustandardeja hipova. Mutta kun se on sinivalkoinen, voi joku nähdä punaista, tai muutoin vain ahtauttaa sieraimiaan poroilla. No, eihän sentään. Alpo taisi mainita modeemin häiritsevän FM-asemien kuuntelua ... ehkä jonkun prosessorin yms. kellotaajuus vuotaa kuin vanha saapas. Karilla, OH5YW, taisi olla jokunen aika sitten sama ongelma. Jos häiriö tulee kaapelia pitkin - kumpaankin päähän kunnon ferriittirenkaat ja johtoa tämän ympärille kelalle. Yleensä näissä on hakkurivirtalähde - lineaariseen muuttaminen voisi ehkä myös auttaa. Jos taas säteilee ns. suoraan ... voisi kokeilla maadoituksia tai paremmin suojattua syöttöjohtoa - tai laitteen siirtämistä kauemmas. Uuden hankkiminen voi myös auttaa ... mutta varmuutta häiriöttömyydestä ei ole, vaikka valmistaja näin ECM-direktiivin mukaisessa vakuutuksessaan näin väittää. Kaikkea muutakin voidaan paperilla vakuuttaa tai väittää - tuottavuuden ja ns. kilpailukyvyn nimissä. Totuusarvosta ei niin väliä. Toki FM-asemien totaaliseen kuulumiseen tai kuulumattomuuteen ei ehkä modeemilla ole niinkään suurta ja tosiasiallista vaikutusta ... mutta jos kyseessä ovat kuuntelua haittaavat modeemin häiriöt, edellisellä voisi olla positiivinen vaikutus FM-asemien reaaliseen ja tosiasialliseen kuuluvuuteen. Myö ei nyt saateta muistaa, mutta näin saattoi olla tarkoituskin, muistaakseni välittömästi alkaen toukokuusta 1979. Dokumentit ovat niin hajautetusti ympäri maailmaa, etten enää edes muista, kellä ja missä on missäkin formaatissa. No, kuitenkin. Modeemiahan jotkut kutsuvat motukaksi, eikä motukkamiehillä aina säteile. Muistan sellaisenkin tilanteen, kun motukka-asentaja tikkana vuonna 2003 kom munikoi, että lähimaastosta puuttuu 50 metriä maanalaista modeemikaapelia. Olin vaiti siitä, että minulla oli jo valmiiksi varalla 30.000 metriä, Saksasta Ruotsin kautta hankittuna. Miina miehinä olin kaikkein aloittelijamaisimpien motukkamiesten varalle huomioinut MiG-kelallisen ferriittikangen paksuista häriönpoistajaa. Modeemiaan eli motukkaansa erittäin hallitsemattomasti vuodesta 1997 alkaen tumpeloinut välittömän läheisyyden radioamatööri sitten poltti koko helahoidon ja yritti syyllistää siitä jopa minua. Kilpailumentaliteettinsa oli taidoilleen liian kova, pelkkää montunkaivuuta koko motukkatouhunsa. No, onneksi ei ole minun murheeni: kaikkia motukkatouhuajia ei voi estää tekemästä kaikkia haluamiaan virheitä, vaikka kuvittelisi tältä istumalta saavuttavansa puolet maailman radioasemista.
