[Dx4win] Measuring the LoTW import process
This thread was three weeks ago but I thought this might be helpful. I recently downloaded my LoTW report and received the dreaded not found message and it turned out that I had created the ADIF in N1MM and uploaded it to LoTW but forgot to import it into DX4WIN. 73 de Terry KK6T All, Just to close this topic Randy's analysis was correct. The 30 missing QSOs were records that had already been confirmed within DX4Win, and which the other station had resubmitted to LoTW. Paul was kind enough to dissect my log and confirm that this diagnosis. He said that he will modify the import routine to report these types of situations to the user. Case closed. -larry K8UT __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Auto Packet Connection Services
To auto-logon, look at TweakUI which you can d/l from Microsoft as part of their Power Toys. It allows you to specify a name and password for auto logon. Then put a shortcut to DX4WIN in your startup folder and you will see XP start and then DX4WIN shortly thereafter. 73 Stan, N3HS -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Terry Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2009 4:10 PM To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] Auto Packet Connection Services Two questions: 1. Is it possible to configure DX4WIN to automatically connect to a cluster (VE7CC)? 2. Is there some way to have DX4WIN start when the computer boots and NOT wait until I log in (like setting it up as a service)? I'm using XP. 73 de Terry KK6T __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] VP8DLM = South Shetlands
VP8DLM started today (24 February) from South Shetlands, VP8/H. The DX4WIN country file identifies it as Antarctica, CE9. If you are lucky enough to work this one, it will be fixed in the next country file release in early March. I expect that the call may be used from Antarctica later in the trip. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C/Ø, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
