if you deactivate rtty (and the other digital modes) in packet3 tab but let the digitals mode on station, dxcc. Agn I am not sure that it will work. If you de-activate digital modes, you will have all rtty spots as grey spots. So no alert. Of course this does not solve the problem because you will loose any possible new band on rtty will be also grey spot. I would like to receive an Alert from Dx4win when a new band country is spotted. I work mainly CW, some SSB, and occasional RTTY. I am interested in working as many band countries as possible (DXCC Challenge Award), but I am not chasing new entities per mode. In File > Preferences > DX Alerts, I set "New Award Band". This will alert me when a new band country is spotted, but it will also give me an alert if the spot is higher priority, i.e. "New Country" or "New Award Mode". Since I work so little RTTY, most RTTY spots cause an alert because they would be a new mode for me. I do not care about increasing my RTTY mode total. The quantity of the alerts makes the alert system of little use for my case. I would like a way to set the priority of New Band higher than New Mode.
