Jesse, There is no Security tab in the Properties. There is no Advanced button either, and no Ownership button. This is XP Professional. Thanks anyway. Rick, The OS is Windows XP. I wish I knew how to take the ownership of the folder. All I could find was "make the folder private" but that made no difference. You probably don't have permission to create the required files for the database. If you take ownership of the TrustedQSL folder, then TQSL should be able to create the required files. What version of Windows are you running? One of the fixes that I'm going to be making for TQSL 1.15 will provide more detail as to why the database could not be created. Tnx Rick, There are no log.* or db.* files in the AppData\TrustedQSL folder. I think I am running all programs as administrator - I do not know how to change that. Just installed the new version from LoTW. I am probably doing something wrong. When I try to sign and upload my log, I get "database error" and the program hangs. Anyone else seen this? Also, it does not ask my password any more. Now I cannot use the previous version because it was deleted during the installation... Any help appreaciated.
