Alan, and everybody else. I can recommend you to upgrade your system to WIN2K, I am running it here and it works great together with DX4WIN, BUT! You can not use the Parallel port (LPT) for CW with your transceiver. I have a MarkV here which I computer control via COM1, I have built a simple interface for doing CW on the same cable as computer control. Otherwise DX4WIN is running smoothly on all my "computers". (They all have WIN2K) 73, cu in the pileups. I have Windows 2000 Professional and would like to upgrade to that rather than XP Pro. Are there any known glitches with Win2k? I use a W1WEF Model 3 CW Interface on my LPT port. I also use a Byte-Runner 4-port Serial card. I am extremely computer literate (30 years in the business), but want to know any experience with DX4WIN. 73's Alan, N5PA ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win

Maybe you're thinking of Writelog, which does NOT support LPT keying on Windows NT/2K/XP. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.com PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC
