Thank you. The meaning is now perfectly clear. Cheers, Loris -- This signature is currently under construction.

I reworded the paragrpah. Thank you. The new introduction is: The Markdown export back-end, "md", converts an Org file to Markdown format, as defined at http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/. Since it is built on top of the HTML back-end (see [[*HTML Export]]), it converts every Org construct not defined in Markdown syntax, such as tables, to HTML. Regards, -- Nicolas Goaziou
Re: [O] [Documentation Bug?] Markdown export
Org tables get exported as an html table. On top of this, pressing 1 after C-c C-e will now highlight the subtree to be exported. Thanks, -- Bastien

With your org version you are expected to export a well organized document: - A headline and its subtrees - or a subtree, not two subtrees. But, here, Org-mode version 7.9.1 (2eb1456bfd the new exporter handles this case well and exports the two subtrees. Please upgrade Org and use the new exporter as suggested in the release notes: http://orgmode.org/Changes.html cheers, Giovanni
