Yes. If your processor is improperly cooled, or your processor, RAM, or motherboard components are buggy, it will cause a crash every single time. It's very common to have buggy hardware that only "seems" to crash under a certain program. The keygen process is very math-intensive, it may overwork math parts of the processor that normally don't get worked out, and those may be the only parts of the processor that are buggy. potential bug when creating ssh keypairs?
i put forward a message on this before, but i received no replies. i wanted to know if this was a bug and where to report it. whenever, and only when, i try to create an ssh keypair, the system reboots. this happens 4/5 times. if someone can help me out on this, i'd appreciate it. __ Do you Yahoo!?
