What I wonder is: 1) do you have Thunderbird and Firefox set as the default email client/browser in your desktop environment (if GNOME or KDE)? 2) what does mozilla-launcher itself say (what is the unknown browser it's looking for)? The problem is, mozilla-launcher has the audacity to fail to open *anything*. mozilla-laucher sits in /usr/libexec, giving the error "unknown browser" when I attempt to launch it.
