I don't know what site you were on. On the RS games the f3 through f6 lower sound volume, but you may know that already. Also you can set Internet volume via speaker volume on system tray. There's nothing more annoying than a loud volume that you can't turn down because you can't hear JAWS to lower it. Smile. Might start with Research it..has Reuters and the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). They both are excellent news sources. I use these plus the Financial Times. The Wall Street Journal and Barrons - all specialized finance newspapers. I read the New York Times and the Washington Post. You can get a number of articles free, you can pay a modest monthly subscription fee to subscribe or you can get an article you wont viaGGoogle Search for nothing..just a small pain. I don't use CNN, so can't say anything about accessibility. Oh..I read the Christian Science Monitor from time to time, too...great world affairs site. I've seen this on AMD's website too. If I recall in my experience with it, in that case it wouldn't let me download a manual for a graffics card. That's just what happened to me though. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Flor Lynch Sent: Sunday, January 26, 2014 4:33 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] what does this mean your browser does not supportinline frames What is the 'certain Website'? This site could do with some work, putting it politely. Having a quick look at it using the Web Accessibility Evaluation tool from WebAim, you get 10 Errors, including: Document language missing (this is a bit of a clanger); 4 X Linked image missing alternative text; 2 X Spacer image missing alternative text; 3 X Missing alternative text; 1 X No heading structure - this makes it hard for a screen reader to get around; Full details: http://wave.webaim.org/report#/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.eastbrandywinebaptist.com%2F Glen *** On 27-Jan-2014 11:05 AM, john melia wrote: The website is http://www.eastbrandywinebaptist.com/ when I click on any of the links jaws can't read it I think the website is not set up for jaws most like things are in a picture form I need a few folks to confirm this so I can maybe have something done. Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws frendly web sites
Hi, How do you sign up for a Google account? For the birthday they have some odd menu for the months. They drop down but when I enter on the month of choice, I get an edit field but when I type anything in it, it doesn't take. It just says alert, you cannot leave this empty or something like that. I am using Jaws in Internet Explorer 11. Thanks Lauren advice from my cats: meow when you feel like it. [JAWS-Users] insert combinations and other keystrokes bot working with HAWS 15
If I do not have any programs other than JAWS 14 running, nothing is spoken when I press insert f10 or insert f11. Also, when in JAWS, if I try accessing any menu, nothing is spoken. However, the results of these keystrokes does appear on my Focus 40 Bluetooth braille display. I am running XP Home with service pack 3 and JAWS 14, but not the professional edition. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks. --- Shepherds are the best beasts, but Labs are a close second. For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Re: [JAWS-Users] SMA
Hello Mellissa and list While on the topic of SMA. Can someone from FS who is a member of the list perhaps explain the SMA structure. After a little investigation it seems that the SMA policy is applied differently in different countries, so does the dealer have a choice how he applies the policy. For example: in my country I wanted to upgrade from JFW v14 to v15 and the quote which I got had a further option to take one SMA which would entitle me to JFW V16. A friend in the US made a similar enquiry there and was told that one can not upgrade from v14 to v15 and take just one SMA but that one must purchase V15 and then pay for 2 SMA's (V16 and V17). I hope someone can clear things up.
