[krita] [Bug 369306] New: Unfocusing the window then drawing at the canvas yields no pressure detection or smoothing at the initial stroke.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369306 Bug ID: 369306 Summary: Unfocusing the window then drawing at the canvas yields no pressure detection or smoothing at the initial stroke. Product: krita Version: 3.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: usability Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: phoenix.en...@gmail.com Trying to draw after putting the window out of focus yields no pressure detection or smoothing at the initial brush stroke. Subsequent brush strokes work normally. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any document or create a new one. 2. Place the Krita window out of focus. You can do this by clicking anywhere outside the Krita window. 3. Draw a brush stroke in the Krita canvas. Actual Results: Brush stroke looks ragged with no pressure detection at all. Expected Results: Brush stroke has pressure detection and is stabilized (this may vary between different brushes.) Tablet I'm using is HUION H610 Pro. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 369305] New: Color picking alternate invocation gets stuck when un-focusing the Krita window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369305 Bug ID: 369305 Summary: Color picking alternate invocation gets stuck when un-focusing the Krita window Product: krita Version: 3.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: usability Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: phoenix.en...@gmail.com Activating any of the color picking alternate invocation (such as when holding the Control Key) then placing the Krita window out of focus keeps the activated invocation stuck. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Set Canvas Input Settings → Alternative Invocation to default. Keep the Krita program windowed (for convenience as you'll see later.) 1. Open any document or create a new one. 2. Place your cursor in the Krita canvas area. 3. Hold the control key. You should see a Foreground Color PIck. 4. While holding the control key, un-focus the Krita window by clicking anywhere that isn't the Krita window. 5. Release the control key. 6. Move the cursor back to the Krita canvas. Actual Results: The Foreground Color PIck mode is still activated. Clicking the canvas will pick the color instead of placing a brush stroke. Expected Results: The Foreground Color Pick mode is not activated. Clicking the canvas would place a brush stroke instead of picking the color. Similar behavior is shown with the other Color Pick alternate invocations: Foreground Color Pick from Current Layer, Background Color Pick from Current Layer, Background Color Pick from Merged Layers. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[korganizer] [Bug 257723] Invitation replies are always sent immediately
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=257723 --- Comment #13 from Michi --- (In reply to Denis Kurz from comment #12) it's even worse now. The only action shown in an invitation now is "check my calender" which only opens the korganizer; I would expect to see a marker where the event would be, but see nothing. but back to the original problem, since I can't reply at all, there's no way how "replies are always sent immediately" - bug resolved ;-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 369303] New: Krita fails to build in Debug mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369303 Bug ID: 369303 Summary: Krita fails to build in Debug mode Product: krita Version: git master Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: bruceoutdo...@gmail.com In the official build instructions krita is built using "RelWithDebInfo", which is a Release build with debugging information. However release builds optimized out certain values (like QStrings), which can be useful for programmers when using a debugger. The problem is that Krita can build in Release and RelWithDebInfo mode, but fails in Debug mode. That still means Krita can be built and packaged, but that doesn't seem like something that should happen. I have replicated this error about 3 times, and the compile errors consistently points to the VC library (I rebuilt VC and Krita from scratch a few times to confirm): C:/dev/install/lib/libVc.a(const.cpp.obj):const.cpp:(.text+0x0): multiple definition of `Vc1::Common::checkLibraryAbi(unsigned int, unsigned int, char const*)' lib/libkritaimage.dll.a(d008809.o):(.text+0x0): first defined here collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit status Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. [kmail2] [Bug 317117] Cannot assign Shift+Ins to "Paste Without Formatting" in composer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317117 Lastique changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|WAITINGFORINFO |--- Status|NEEDSINFO |CONFIRMED --- Comment #3 from Lastique --- Kmail 5.1.3 in Kubuntu 16.04 behaves differently than the one I reported the problem against. But the problem still persists. The original problem was that pasting links from Chrome in the composer would invoke a menu and there was no way around it (the keyboard shortcut did not avoid the menu). Currently, the menu does not appear whether you do a regular paste or paste without formatting. However, you can see that the shortcut still cannot be reassigned. Here's the updated repro: 1. Open kmail composer (e.g. by creating a new mail). Go to Settings->Configure shortcuts. 2. Select "Paste Without Formatting" primary or alternate shortcut and change it to Shift+Ins. Confirm if it asks whether it should reassign the shortcut from "Paste". 3. Open Chrome or Chromium and open any web page. Copy the URL in the address bar (Ctrl+Ins). Note: the browser is essential, won't work with Firefox. 4. Go back to the email composer. 5. Ensure you have Rich Text editing mode enabled. 6. Paste the URL into the message body by pressing Shift+Ins. Also try pasting by selecting Edit->Paste and Edit->Paste Without Formatting in the menu for comparison. What you will see that Paste puts the URL formatted as an URL (e.g. blue underlined) and Paste Without Formatting puts it as plain text. Shift+Ins, despite being reassigned, acts equivalently to Paste. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=327255 --- Comment #8 from Wolfgang Bauer --- (In reply to Denis Kurz from comment #7) > Can anyone tell if this bug still present? Apparently not. I just tried with 16.08.1, and newly created calendars/addressbooks are now enabled by default. Furthermore, you can add contacts/events also to disabled calendars/addressbooks, they are just not displayed. There's a difference between KAddressbook and KOrganizer in this regard though: KOrganizer shows a warning that the calendar is disabled/"filtered out" and that you should activate it on the left if you want to see the events, while KAddressbook does not. One "bug" I still noticed: The default calendar was still disabled in KOrganizer on a fresh user account, I had to enable it manually. In KAddressbook, the default addressbook was enabled though as I would expect it. So from my POV this can be closed. If there are still certain specific "hiccups", they can/should be filed separately anyway I think. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 369293] Can't draw, erase, or do anything when a black swirling dot appears
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369293 wolthera changed: What|Removed |Added CC||griffinval...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from wolthera --- hi there! Could you... 1. Check if this still happens with 3.0.1(you can get that from the website) 2. If so, make a screenshot? It sounds really mysterious, but we fixed a lot of bugs in the last two versions, so maybe this was fixed as well? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[korganizer] [Bug 165212] Configured time zone is not always honored
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165212 --- Comment #42 from fischer-mich...@cs.yale.edu --- The bug I reported in Comment 39 is still with us in korganizer version 5.3.0 (QtWeb Engine). Attachment 41415 contains a calendar with one appointment "Test event" on Sunday, March 14, 2010, 1:00 AM - 5:00 AM UTC. In terms of local time (America/New York), the above appointment begins at 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 13 and ends at 12:00 AM on Sunday, March 14. When displayed in the day or week agenda view, the appointment displays as Saturday, March 13, 2010, 8 :00 PM - 12:00 AM, and nothing displays on Sunday, March 14. However, in the month view, the appointment spans two days, displaying on both March 13 and March 14. There is also a UTC conversion problem. If one takes that same appointment but changes the ending time to 9:00 AM UTC on Sunday, March 14, 2010, it displays incorrectly as ending at 4:00 AM local time. Since daylight savings time began at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 14, 2010, the ending time should have displayed as 5:00 AM local time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kscreenlocker] [Bug 369258] Pressing Caps Lock results in showing info message for a fraction of second

[valgrind] [Bug 369209] valgrind loops and eats up all memory (very slowly) when the current working directory doesn't exist.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369209 --- Comment #6 from Ivo Raisr --- Yes, cwd of another process can be removed; but as usually the process holds a reference on it: "If the directory's link count becomes zero and no process has the directory open, the space occupied by the directory is freed and the directory is no longer accessible. If one or more processes have the directory open when the last link is removed, the "." and ".." entries, if present, are removed before rmdir() returns and no new entries may be created in the directory, but the directory is not removed until all references to the directory have been closed." Can you sketch in a bit more detail other approaches? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
