Product: kdeconnect Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: android-application Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: sparky123558w...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Ring and photo not working in kdeconnect app when app is in background on Android 10. This isn't related to issue 392853 or 368438 however if you haven't saw. There are people reporting on issue 368438 including myself about now having that issue again in android 10. I am however opening a new bug report because the cause is most likely different. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try to ring or launch camera on phone without having kdeconnect app in focus. 2. Observe nothing happening or it will launch once and then every subsequent call will never launch. OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT Phone rings or camera launches. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Bug report I filed with gsconnect as well as with tons of debugging information from the app as well as, as much info as I could extract from an android bug report. https://github.com/andyholmes/gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect/issues/692 Relevant quote from andy over at gsconnect regarding what was found: "There are a few warnings in there about deprecated MediaPlayer use, but it looks to me like this could be the culprit. Use realtime indexing as fallback when DB has no property data Summary: In case the DB provides no data, try to fetch the properties directly from the file using the new OnDemandIndexer class. If required, start the extractor in the background, fetch UserMetaData and wait for the extractor, then unite the results. [plasmashell] [Bug 414119] New: The "Configure Desktop -> Wallpaper" setting does not refresh the wallpaper if there is less than < 2 images in the wallpaper directory.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414119 Bug ID: 414119 Summary: The "Configure Desktop -> Wallpaper" setting does not refresh the wallpaper if there is less than < 2 images in the wallpaper directory. Product: plasmashell Version: 5.16.5 Platform: Other OS: FreeBSD Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Image Wallpaper Assignee: notm...@gmail.com Reporter: bsduni...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 I have a single file in a directory "Earth.jpg" which is an image of the GOES full disk color image of the earth. It is fetched from a script every 10 minutes. The file name never changes and it's the only file in that directory. The issue is that setting "Configure Desktop -> Wallpaper" settings using either the "slideshow" wallpaper type or "Image" does not update the background wallpaper. It updates the background once and then stops re-reading the image file again, even if using the Slideshow setting and telling it to change every minute. The odd thing is that the image thumbnail preview below the settings panel updates to the actual image in the directory as it should. So thumbnail previews in "Configure Desktop -> Wallpaper" work like the background should work. So the code is written properly for the thumbnail image preview it just doesnt seem to apply to the code to refresh the actual desktop image. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Fetch an image every n minutes that changes each time it's fetched and put it in a directory with a filename that does not change and is the only file in the directory. 2. Go to "Configure Desktop" from the contextual menu by right clicking on the desktop. 3. Go to Wallpaper 4. Select Image or Slide show, for slideshow select update every 5 seconds for testing purposes. 5. Select the directory your image that updates is locate in and select the image. OBSERVED RESULT 6. Watch the thumbnail below the settings update every 5 seconds but the actual background image does not change from the initial fetch of the image. EXPECTED RESULT 7. The background image should update by rescanning the directory and image file you selected to update the background even if the filename does not change or if there is only one image in the wallpaper directory chosen. [digikam] [Bug 414117] New: Full screen cannot close Image Editor by clicking Close Editor
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414117 Bug ID: 414117 Summary: Full screen cannot close Image Editor by clicking Close Editor Product: digikam Version: 6.4.0 Platform: macOS Disk Images OS: macOS Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Usability-FullScreen Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: gski...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I am having issues with the 6.4 on Mac Mojave when switching to "Full-Screen" mode. If once in full-screen AND enter another feature such as Image Editor, it can be hard to get back to thumbnail view. It is not clear how to close the Image Editor because clicking the Close Editor so does not bring you back to the Thumbnail view. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Within Normal Thumbnail view, click Full Screen. App enters full-screen as expected. 2. Select an image and click Image Editor. This is okay. This is where different closing options have different outcomes. 3A. Click Exit Full Screen - This outcome gives you back the two windows in a tabbed interface. You can then close the tab for Image Editor -- This works okay. So option 3A is the workaround. 3B. This is where the issues are. From the Full-screen of step 2. Click Close Editor button. 4. This closes full-screen but gives you only one Image Editor Window. The Thumbnail view is not found. 5. Click Close Editor and nothing happens. 6. Click the close button on the window and Digikam Closes. So by following path 3B, it is not easy to get back to the Thumbnail view without restarting the program. So to recap, there is something going wrong about step 3B when clicking Close Editor. Doing so doesn't work and doesn't bring you back to the Thumbnail view. This also affects the BQM and Light Table SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: Mojave -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[lattedock] [Bug 414104] Padding of Latte messes with system tray
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414104 --- Comment #11 from adrien.brune...@gmail.com --- > Close the main indicator switch then That removes the padding. Margins are inferior in two ways: - it can bet set to 25% top instead of 100% for padding (I like it very spaced) - it does not add space on the sides (that looks horrible) I found a workaround using margins and adding separators widgets but the main point resides, the indicator padding setting messes the system tray layout, visible or not. Maybe the bug is from system tray side but I couldn't find where to post such a bug report. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
