Ah correction, I see it after reboot, not after wakup from sleep, was
redirected here from another issue

Its from KDE 3, there is a screenshot attached of KDE 3 with the feature, and
my very messy desktop :) . And the report was after upgrading to 4.

Hey, Thanks for getting back on this after such a long time!

Just tested in Ubuntu 23.10 and this still does not exist there. You can make
either the konsole window transparent but you can see the windows below.

Or you can set a wallpaper that would be stretched and tiled independent to the
background of the desktop.

I will note though that I am not really using that feature at the moment, so
its not urgent for me. However I thought is worth documenting.

On ubuntu runing:
sudo apt-get install libgpgme-dev solves the issue. its not set as a build-dep
for some reason.
