Created attachment 161410

valgrind log

I tried to run valgrind --error-limit=no --log-file="lokalize.log" lokalize
but ended up with computer frozen. I let it work for a dozen of minutes and
then rebooted. This is all I got logged there.

Just to be sure, I deleted ~/.config/labplot2rc first

1) Run Labplot2 (with Czech localization)
2) File -> Save as... test (name of the file)

That's all. It crashed immediately.

Nothing else.
It happens to me all the time.

I found the issue with one string "GPT" translated as "MS-DOS".

Thank you for reporting the issue.

It should be fixed in next releases.

[KScreen] [Bug 465718] Primary screen not respected by panel

2023-02-17 Thread Vit Pelcak
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465718

Maybe not mentioning panel at all?

Or something like:

This determines which where is primary containment with icons where you can
also put your panel in. Then the panel will automatically move to whatever
screen you set as primary.

[KScreen] [Bug 465718] Primary screen not respected by panel

2023-02-17 Thread Vit Pelcak

(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3)
> The description seems accurate to me. What about it is misleading?

Well it says that primary screen is the place where panel is. Which may be not
the case and was not for me.
Please note, I didn't deliberately move the panel. It must have been default
setting.

[lokalize] [Bug 465923] New: Fuzzy counter not changed when new fuzzies found by Lokalize

2023-02-17 Thread Vit Pelcak
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465923

Bug ID: 465923
Summary: Fuzzy counter not changed when new fuzzies found by
Lokalize
Classification: Applications
   Product: lokalize
   Version: 22.12.2
  Platform: openSUSE

  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 156366
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=156366=edit
Screenshot of example

SUMMARY
***
Lokalize has a feature to "Fill in all exact suggestions and mark as fuzzy".
When you use it and it does find something to add fuzzy entries, the counter of
fuzzy strings doesn't change.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open translation in Lokalize
2. Look at the bottom of Lokalize, there is a counter of fuzzy strings
3. Use the tool "Fill in all exact suggestions and mark as fuzzy"
4. Wait for it to finish

OBSERVED RESULT
In case new strings are filled by the tool, the counter of fuzzy strings
doesn't change.

See the screenshot in attachment. There you can see that while there are
clearly fuzzy strings, at the bottom right you see 0 for fuzzy.

EXPECTED RESULT
Fuzzy string counter will reflect the number of fuzzy strings.

My workaround:
- kquitapp5 plasmashell
- Edit ~/.config/plasmashellrc and remove all entries under [ScreenConnectors]
- kstart5 plasmashell && kquitapp5 plasmashell

and panel appeared.

And in ~/.config/plasmashellrc I found:
[ScreenConnectors]
0=eDP-1
1=DP-1-1
2=DP-1-3

Another thing is, that selecting some screen as primary will make panel appear
elsewhere.

I had to set 0=eDP-1 as primary to have it appear on 1=DP-1-1.

Hello.
I was not able to install KRecipes on my distribution anymore so I cannot

Wouldn't checking the code whether the strings are properly exported to gettext

I see that Plasma greatly improved.

But I still experience hiccups.
After reconnecting to dock my Original layout (see attachment) is reset to a
bit weird layout (see "Wrong reset layout" attachment).

The original layout is good enough for me. I would prefer if top sides of
monitors could align (the screen turned by 90 degrees aligns to the bottom
instead), but I can live with that.

2019-05-22 Thread Vit Pelcak

Hello.

Fine for me. But then maybe user could be notified that it is only a preview to
not to use it further.

When I was starting with RAW, I thought that it is a quality I get.
I almost saved the jpeg and deleted original RAWs.

Hello.

To be honest I no longer care.

Amarok was already removed from Gentoo and so I have no means to retest
properly. I'm also wondering if Amarok is still alive.

Feel free to close the bug as you see fit.

Hello.

Issue is still in place.

I had to migrate to GNOME because there it works way better.

In KF5 switching to docking station or rebooting the system usually ends up
with the messed screens which need to be fixed manually.

I have no idea why there is such severe regression compared to KDE4 where it
worked flawlessly.

[kwin] [Bug 356412] New: Windows are maximized under panel

2015-12-09 Thread Vit Pelcak via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356412

Bug ID: 356412
Summary: Windows are maximized under panel
   Product: kwin
   Version: 5.4.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: v...@pelcak.org

When I maximize window, it is behind the panel.

I have set panel to be always on top and never hide. Yet, maximized windows are
behind it.
It is rather annoying as I have to resize windows manually to fit or have part
of the window hidden.

See screenshot in attachment.

Reproducible: Always
