We wouldn't have released Krita otherwise. In fact, it's most likely that you are using an AMD GPU and have enabled OpenGL in the display page of Krita's settings dialog. You don't give any information about your system, so that's just a guess, but this is a known bug in some versions of AMD's OpenGL drivers. You usually can work around it by switching to the Angle renderer in the display page of the settings dialog.
